Waraporn Phiangchom
Nakhon Ratchasima · Orientation Seminar
"I had been putting off looking at my fund documents for a couple of years because I did not know where to start. The session gave me a clear picture of how the different parts fit together. It was not as complicated as I had expected — the facilitator was careful to explain each term before moving on. I went home and read through my statements the same evening."

Arthit Thongsuk
Buriram · Document Organisation Workshop
"The folder templates are still on my desk. I came to the session with a collection of envelopes and loose papers covering about fifteen years of employment at different companies, and left with a system I could actually maintain. The session was shorter than I anticipated — maybe three hours — but it was entirely practical. My only note would be that a few more examples of what to do when a document is completely missing would have been useful."

Nanthipha Klomkaew
Nakhon Ratchasima · Orientation Seminar
"My husband and I attended together, which I would recommend. Having two people read the same materials and hear the same explanations meant we could discuss things properly when we got home. I appreciated that the facilitator was upfront that the session covers how the system generally works and does not tell you what to do — that made it easier to trust what was being shared."

Supanida Srisuwan
HR Manager, Nakhon Ratchasima · Employer Programme
"Our HR team had been fielding the same five or six questions from staff about provident fund contributions for years. After two sessions with Vestara, we had the vocabulary and the reference slides to answer those questions clearly ourselves. The materials we kept have already been used in two onboarding cycles for new staff. The per-organisation pricing made sense for us."

Chalermpon Wongprasert
Surin · Document Organisation Workshop
"I attended because my sister recommended it after her own experience. The session moved at a steady pace and did not feel rushed. The checklist was the most useful part for me — it told me exactly which documents to look for and, more importantly, which ones I was missing so I knew what to request. No pressure to take any next step after the workshop."

Patchara Rattanaruang
Nakhon Ratchasima · Orientation Seminar
"I am a few years away from retirement and wanted to understand what my options would look like based on my current contributions. The seminar did not answer that specific question — it is not set up to — but it did help me understand how to read the documents and which government office publishes what. The reading pack has a list of official websites that I have since used several times."

Stories in Detail
Three Participant Journeys
Longer accounts describing the situation participants were in before a Vestara session, what the session covered, and what changed for them after.
An Employee Approaching Retirement with Incomplete Records
Document Organisation Workshop · Individual participant · Nakhon Ratchasima
The Situation
A participant in her late 50s had worked for four different employers over 28 years. She had Social Security contribution records for some periods but none for others, and she was unsure which fund documents she should have received from each employer. She had a shoebox of papers she had not opened in several years.
What the Session Covered
The Document Organisation Workshop walked her through which records correspond to which phase of a working life, what each document type looks like, and how to request missing records from the Social Security Office and from former employers' fund managers. She left with a labelled folder system for the documents she already had and a checklist of what to request.
What Changed
Within six weeks, she had obtained contribution records covering the two employment periods where her paperwork was missing. She now had a complete set of documents in a single folder system. She noted in a follow-up email that the process of requesting the missing records had been straightforward once she knew which office to contact and what to ask for.
"I wish I had done this ten years ago. It took about six weeks in total and the checklist made the whole thing manageable."
An HR Team Preparing for a Provident Fund Update
Group Employer Programme · Manufacturing company · Nakhon Ratchasima province
The Situation
An HR team at a manufacturing company was preparing to communicate a change to the organisation's provident fund vesting schedule to approximately 180 staff. The HR lead was concerned that the communication would generate questions the team was not equipped to answer clearly, and that misunderstandings would lead to complaints.
What the Programme Covered
Three sessions over four weeks gave the HR team a working understanding of how provident fund vesting structures generally work, what the relevant terminology means in plain language, and how to structure the staff communication clearly. Vestara prepared reference slides the team could adapt and use internally.
What Changed
The fund change was communicated in two staff briefings with the adapted slides. The HR lead reported that the number of individual queries to HR in the two months following the announcement was noticeably lower than after previous fund updates. The reference slides have since been used in onboarding sessions for new employees.
"The slides are still in our onboarding deck. That alone made the programme worthwhile."
A Couple Attending the Orientation Seminar Together
Retirement-System Orientation Seminar · Two participants · Nakhon Ratchasima
The Situation
A husband and wife, both employed by different organisations, were within eight years of their planned retirement and had each accumulated Social Security and provident fund membership over their respective careers. Neither had read their fund statements closely and neither was sure how the two systems related to each other.
What the Session Covered
The Orientation Seminar gave both participants a structured overview of how Thailand's national Social Security and workplace provident fund systems operate in general terms, what the main documents issued by each system mean, and where the official information is published. They received the same reading pack, which they could review and discuss together at home.
What Changed
Both participants read through their fund statements in the weeks following the seminar. Having attended together, they were able to work through the documents with a shared framework rather than separately. They subsequently contacted the Social Security Office directly with questions about their contribution histories — something they said they had not felt confident enough to do before the session.
"Going together was the right decision. We both understood the same things and could talk it through without having to explain it to each other."
